I completed a handover for a small apartment near Jinji Lake and the process was smoother than I expected, but I missed two details that almost slowed down the deposit return. I photographed the walls, appliances, keys, and furniture, yet I forgot clear closeups of the gas meter and the property management fee receipt.

The agent accepted my move-out photos, but the landlord wanted the meter readings in one combined message with the final utility payments. The property office also asked for the receipt number before they would confirm that there were no remaining building fees. None of this was hostile, just administrative.

Next time I will make a short checklist before the agent arrives: water, power, gas, internet equipment, building access cards, and the management fee receipt. Are there any other handover items that are easy to overlook in newer compounds?
