Airport arrival card details for a short Shanghai stay

I am flying into Shanghai next month for five nights, then heading onward to Seoul. For the paper arrival card, should I list the first hotel only, or every hotel on the itinerary?

I have two bookings because I will spend the first two nights near Jing'an and the rest near Hongqiao. I want to keep the entry process smooth and avoid giving the officer a confusing answer at the booth.

Put the hotel where you will sleep on the first night. That is what I have done on my last three entries, and nobody asked about the later bookings. I kept the rest of the itinerary in my phone in case they wanted it.

Agree with first-night lodging. If your booking has a Chinese address, save that version too. The English address was fine for me, but the Chinese address helped when I took a taxi from the station.

One small thing: write the hotel phone number clearly. I saw someone ahead of me get asked to add it before leaving the counter area. It only took a minute, but it slowed the line.
