I’m a foreigner in China helping my partner follow a Chinese visa application submitted abroad. The portal status changed to “rejected and to be modified,” and we’ve checked the messages section and the paper receipt, but neither makes clear which document or field needs attention. I’m confused about whether this means a refusal or a request to correct the application, and we don’t want to upload a guessed replacement that conflicts with what the centre has.
